Little Treats & Stocking Stuffers: Too Faced Melted Kisses

Festive glitz and glamour.  That's what the packaging says loud and clear. Perfect for giving or getting this holiday season.  These mini editions of Too Faced ultra popular Melted Lipstick are going to be the favorite of anyone who's lucky enough to get gifted with these.




Too Faced has taken the lip lovers word by storm ever since they released their Melted Lipsticks.  They are pigmented, smooth, and long lasting as any long wearing lipstick should be.  Melted describes these perfectly.  The texture is as if you melted your favorite lippy down into a super concentrated liquid.

Small as these may be(each is .16oz), a little bit of these goes a long way.  These matte tubes are very fitting, as these aren't meant to be ultra glossy.  Don't let the tube and sponge applicator confuse you.  I'd say the best way to apply these is with a lip brush.  The sponge applicator works, but for these bright gorgeous colors, a clear lip liner and then applying these with a lip brush will give you better results.

The Melted Nude and Melted Peony are great for everyday.  I can see myself wearing Melted Nude along with a neutral smokey eye(the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette comes to mind).  Melted Fuchsia and Melted Berry are sexy and awesome for a night out or wearing to a holiday party.  Melted Berry and with a black liquid liner cat eye would be stunning.  All of these leave a great stain.  A dab of Melted Berry blotted leaves a wonderful just bitten color.

Giving these as a set is fantastic.  If you were to break these up as stocking stuffers, Melted Fuchsia  and Melted Berry are perfect for an edgy or adventurous recipient.  Melted Nude is the perfect nude that anyone can wear. I'm really enjoying playing with these, and if you choose to keep a few(or all of them) you will too!
